Hard disagree, it's hard to feel bad for a guy who thinks it's okay to not only drive drunk but smash into their car in a fit of rage as retaliation for a prank. I've always thought when somebody's drunk they're just more likely to be themselves.

12 beers though. Whether they're "themselves" or not, it's fair to say the average persons judgement is going to be piss poor and they're more likely to do something violent/aggressive after 12 beers.

Not defending him, I just find it kind of interesting and don't know that it's fair to view him through the same lens as someone who had 12 beers at the bar and said fuck it and drove home anyway and killed 3 people.
