Best NFL team ever was 2007 Patriots who went 16-0 and lost in Super Bowl to 11-5 Giants. Best MLB team ever was 2001 Mariners who went 116-46 and reached the ALCS. They lost to the Yankees, the defending champions for three straight years. The best NHL team the Bruins with 135 pts who lost to the Panthers, a team closer in pts to the worst team in the league than the best team. Bruins are clearly the odd ones out here. ...
