And, if you are not making enough money relative to loan amount to comfortably afford to pay student loans - income based repayment remains available on an opt-in basis. There are several types available and the more recent ones are very generous. For the person who shared a screenshot of their estimated monthly payment in that tweet - either that monthly payment is not based on income based repayment, or she makes at least 175k a year.
