Stupid me sees comments about how "Britain is already primarily Muslim" or something getting 22 upvotes and wonders if people are conflating people of South Asian descent with Muslims. Not like that isn't a real thing, seeing how the TV Tropes page for "Interchangeable Asian Cultures" lists several instances where anyone with remotely brown skin gets mistaken for a Muslim. Not that discrimination against Muslims is any less wrong, but at least it's...ever so slightly easier to understand? --- Why do people act like the left is the party of social justice crusaders? ...
