Lmao I threw supreme armored aegis shield leonie with 40 def into a group of enemies forgetting that aegis shield hurts users without crests. Whoops. And then my dodgetank 90 avo Manuela couldnt dodge Lysithea who turns out to have gotten a giant +20 hit boost from her battalion and one shot me (she one shot everybody wow, quite hard to get that boss dialogue with Edelgard and Byleth since their gambits do so much damage to her too). Ive really overestimated my units after returning from a skirmish.

I needed this Bow Knight dead because it would've killed Hubert otherwise.
RIP my boy Claude. I actually forgot I had to beat him with Byleth or Edelgard to spare him so I just got their dialogue and had Manuela kill him because I needed the EXP but I'd intended for him to die anyway since it's only fair when every other lord dies on other routes.
Also that Hubert Hanneman support surprised me. Hanneman is acting like the Marquis De Vestra was just trying to protect something Hubert I guess? So he had a righteous reason for helping the Slitherers? This is unexpected. Everything Ive heard about him was that he was one of the bad dads of Fodlan.

Was at E rank Lances so I don't think I could've certified for Cav. Before my hiatus I had left the game in the middle of a battle weekend so I couldn't go back anyway. In any case I'd kind of forgotten what I had intended for my party so I was just trying to refresh myself with a little grinding.
