Also, how slow is that rover that it's going to take 2-3 months to move closer to the object and take a better picture? I don't know off-hand what the curvature of the moon is, but I can't imagine that the horizon is more than 100 km away, and taking 2-3 months to travel that far would be like 0.07 km/h, or about 60% faster than a garden snail.

It's 2.4km. You could walk to it.
So either that thing is crazy tall and really far away, or the Chinese rover camera is worse than an early flip phone camera.
