Lady calls up and wonders when the driver will be there with her medicine. I tell her we didn't receive the prescription from the doctor until well after our drivers leave on their afternoon runs. She goes "But I was promised early in the morning that it would be delivered after it was called in. I take my medicine in the morning". I told her we open at 9 and our drivers can take it on the morning run tomorrow. She tells me she gets up at 5 and that she was told we were supposed to be a good, helpful pharmacy. "This isn't gonna work when you don't keep promises."

Well, good luck finding a pharmacy that is open at 5-6 in the morning that delivers on-demand.

Thankfully, I only work part-time at our retail location and it's far less stressful than my old job, so this was more amusing than frustrating.
