With my garden stuff, chickens and chicken feed outside, field mice happen. Outdoor cat usually takes care of it but they get in sometimes. one of my parents cats when I was a kid got something and brought be a pile of entrails. They were still pulsating lol. Another time I caught a grasshopper and tried to feed it to her just to see if she'd eat it.
