It has a minor niche at letting them stay close to your units to heal because stealth, but halved magic ruins it. Honestly half-magic shouldn't even exist. Either you can spell or you can't. That said Dancer doesn't care about growths. It doesn't need any growths to do the only thing it should ever be doing. Dance. And be prepared to be extremely underwhelmed by Holy Knight. It basically plays identically to Dark Knight except it does less damage and is somehow worse at healing. It does look cool though. Marianne has a really great avo rate with Sword+20, A rank Sword and Evasion Ring though. I like seeing the funny dancer twirl to avoid attacks and do poses with the Levin Sword/killing enemies with Soulblade. Yeah, I understand Holy Knight is garbage so my expectations are at the bottom.
