Its moreso not that people cant enjoy games with meh graphics, its that they expect more from a company as big as Gamefreak with a game thats as big as Pokemon. Nah, I don't buy that, not completely at least. Yes, a company as big as them should be able to do more, but the graphics and animations for Pokemon games has always lagged behind industry standard. The only difference now that the gameplay is no longer as good as it once was, and now people care because both graphics and gameplay is bad. Honestly, Arceus is a really good example I think. The graphics are bad but the gameplay isn't and as a casual fan you generally hear people talk about how that game is a step in he right direction, whereas ScarVio are memed to death as being ugly because the gameplay doesn't standout as good enough to overcome it. --- *runs out of topic naked* ...
