In the cutscene they were reloading guns that they don't actually have. Very mysterious. Armed and aggressive, Roidfield proceeds under the occasionally watchful eye of the highly irresponsible Sheva. Reynard, for a guy who sounds as fed up and weary as he does, sure sets up a lot of fun times. He gives out weapons and wacky outfits.
