It's simple enough to make a beat. It's not especially hard to make 2 buildups and 2 drops. But where I really struggled was making melodies or just making my songs musically good. If I had a background in music, such as knowing how to play the guitar, I think it would have helped. I used sound packs, because creating my own unique sounds was too advanced for me. I would spend a full day just making a song. I churned out maybe a dozen. I wouldn't consider any of them good enough to release. I ended up losing interest, rather than getting extremely good. Maybe it wasn't for me. Or maybe I gave up too easily.
