Based on the fact that it's very likely the GOP will use voter suppression and disenfranchisement alongside using local election boards BS claims of fraud to gain control of the Federal Government, I would suggest not relying on them.

Don't forget how Trump wielded the DOJ and other federal agencies against BLM and other groups during the George Floyd protests. DHS was more than happy to run snatch and grabs with unmarked black vans and ICE will be more than willing to be play gestapo. So No, the feds will not save us from this.

When you study this shit as much as I have you'll find that the thing that protects people and ensures survival is a network of allies, and an organized defense of the community. The SRA's motto is "We keep us safe", and history proves that to be true.
