I had my dog with me and didn't know how he'd act if I pawned him off on a stranger. Plus, I couldn't see any way to climb up the roof even being as skinny as I am and having experience climbing weird shit. It was the front of a house roof with nothing surrounding it and unclimbable inclined sections of roofs leading to it from back, same as my house. After realizing I couldn't do anything, I walked away so I wouldn't have to hear the dog die if it did. Fucked me up for a minute and waa so depressing. But yeah, I 100% would. Because I also have a lot of experience making fires and understand how much heat you can feel without being actually burned deeply. But, I wouldn't risk my life if it got too uncertain for me. I got people to help take care of in my family and I can't just go taking myself out for others. Im not a hero for a stranger, Im just confident in that situation that I would know my limits and stop if I felt in real danger.
