They were up like 15 in game 5 too and blew it, so that probably killed their morale. Not to mention teams that win game 5 in a 2-2 series win like 80% of the time. I'm obviously not saying they definitely would have won the series, and they always had trouble with the Spurs, so there's a good chance they would have just lost regardless.
