I did have a very close friend living a few blocks away so that was nice too. I didnt have a tv in my bedroom and got used to that but my gf sleeps better with one, so now Im back to that ha. It took a good while of living alone for the loneliness to hit me. i moved into my house like10 years ago and maybe 2 of those years involved having others live with me. It's been 6 since any of that. I've had a dog for pretty much all of it. That definitely helped, but nothing can replace human interaction imo. Im not saying you gotta be identical to me, just saying I wouldn't be so sure until the longevity is more of a reality. And also, tbf, I still am completely cool with it most the time. It's just Id definitely put up with the annoyances of others to not be alone as much as I am now. That flipped over time. Everything I do alone, I enjoy more with company now. I can't start a movie without being half an hour in like "I should stop and see if blank wants to watch this with me later" --- Name checks out "I don't wanna be the toughest, I just keep it 100 and think nothin of it"- Black Thought ...
