There were a few valid points made about how profiting from people's misfortunate is a bad trend to popularize, but overall it reeeeally came across to me as him having watched a youtuber who decided to release a video on Mr. Beast that day or something. The issue with MrBeast is complex.

He does objectively good things, but I follow a lot of people who criticize him, and Ive yet to see a single person saying doing good things is bad.

I think anyone who thinks we shouldnt criticize how weird it is that MrBeast exists is misguided.

I dont think it has anything to do with which fish to fry or anyone trying to take him down or anything.

Set aside intent or if the ends justify the means. When you recognize that capitalist exploitation causes harm, its fucking weird that theres a dude whos a gajillionaire specifically because companies pay him money to make people dance for money.

Like its awesome to see him cure 1000 peoples blindness, but isnt it fucking insane that you can just cure blindness like that, and that were reveling in a lucky 1000 handpicked by Mr Jimmy Beast?

Also he recreated Squid Game for gods sake lol.
