It's easy to talk about, but there's a reason DC hasn't been able to have the same type of success with their EU. DC hasn't had the same success because their movies have notably been of worse quality, noted both from fans and critics alike. So far, Nintendo hit it out of the park with fans. They can capitalize on it. If they do remains to be seen. And even then, you have to assume the Nintendo movie budget is a good bit less than Marvel's, so they don't have to reach the same amount of success as Marvel to be profitable.
