There are a maximum of 96 tokens which gives you 32 rolls.

You'll fucking work for that 96 though. Three of the tokens in each challenge are awarded for getting 1000 points higher than the high score it provides on its own. One is given for hitting small medallions that are on some of the larger targets. To get every token, you essentially have to hit every single target, don't hit any of the negative targets, and hit all of those medallions. On a controller, it's easily the most difficult thing to do in the game.
