The gameplay is very fun and the characters are hilarious. There a few famous cutscenes, but it's really hard to describe the tone without playing it. For example, you go to see the king of Corneria with your party so the king can give you the quest to kill Chaos. The setting is a typical fantasy castle and all the NPCs are super serious typical fantasy characters. But your party is a group of misfits in street clothes and you don't take anything seriously.
