That's actually pretty close. Still up to the doctor, sure, but it sounds similar. Especially the sensitivity. The last few days before going to the hospital she didn't want me touching her saying she's far too sensitive. Not even to give her a hug or just hold her hand. I'm not taking anything mean she says to me personally because, like I said, this isn't her.

The episode varies with people, but basically the brain warps reality to make it rationalize that everything around them is trying to persecute you. It's an odd feeling because when I was in that state, I knew myself that I was warping reality, but to my mind and perception it's a real feeling. It's pretty surreal.

Anyway after some deep rest you'll probably discover some underlying stressor that caused it. The human mind is really fragile, things like this helps you appreciate how delicate it is. Hope your gf recovers soon.
