I'd argue that it's often not the #1 thing people complain about, but it's at the root of most things people complain about even if they don't want to admit it. Plus, a ton of people with lots of money have problems. Money doesn't solve problems, but spending it can help with the problems. Maybe money itself is the problem. Living within your means can be hard but extremely rewarding.
