You gotta become ok with the confusion and just admit on the spot when your perception was different from those who don't understand you. I think I dealt with that by perceiving misunderstandings as funny. Instead of beating myself up when I misunderstand something or getting mad when someone misunderstands me, I just laugh about it and move on. Not that it means Im 100% protected from frustrations from misunderstandins, just that all the small ones burn up in the atmosphere before making it anywhere close to a concern.
