Topic	How does the world of John Wick function?

In JW2 when they're on the train you see people leave and make room while others fill in to watch in the background. Hence why everyone knows John and why people freak out when the shooting starts but you don't really see the cops getting involved. (Working again? Scene from JW1) The coins are either 1/life or 1/million dollars.
