Topic	Why is Jak and Daxter dead but Ratchet and Clank still kicking?

They're basically the gold standard for the cinematic action games these days. Which as cool as Crash and Jak were for the time didn't really come close to the acclaim they get these days. It's not like they're the only developer around who stopped making platformers after the PS2 generation. Even FromSoft made The Adventures of Cookies and Cream.
