I don't know what to believe when it comes to the origins of COVID. Frankly, a human eating a bat seems a little unlikely as the culprit. I don't know that I believe that this was something that escaped from a lab either.

My personal experience when I had COVID was... You know that feeling when you inhale chemicals and your lungs tell you that something is there that shouldn't be? That's how it felt for me. It felt more like a chemical reaction than it did any flu or virus I'd experienced. But that's just my own experience with COVID. Everyone in my immediate family had it and they all had very different experiences. So me feeling like I'd inhaled excessive amounts of airborne bathroom cleaner is by no means proof that this was lab-created.

I can say without any xenophobia, and without being prone to conspiracy theories, that this felt inorganic to me. But, like I said, that's just my body's personal reaction to it. Even if it had been created in a lab, that doesn't justify any prejudice or violence. The middle-aged woman carrying her groceries home at night had nothing to do with the spread of this virus, so fuck anyone who wants to take their aggression out on her or any other innocent victim.
