Its a nice thought in theory, but doesnt work in practice. My kids got a bunch a colds earlier in the year so I kept them home when they were sick. I got a fucking nastygram from the vice principal that I only get 9 days I can excuse and its important that kids go to school. So now if they are slightly sick I tell them to go to school and go to the nurse to get sent home so it doesnt count against me.
