There has been analysis done on the virus by everyday genetic scientists and the majority consensus is the virus came about naturally; not from a lab. It's true there's convincing circumstantial evidence for the lab leak theory, but it requires some pretty significant inferences; whereas natural development just requires the right environment factors. Which is easier to believe? A lab leak that was kept secret by hundreds or thousands of people?
