It's pretty silly to compare this to Abdor for a number reasons, not the least of which they're two different types of shows. It's like comparing a drama to a action show/film. This show is the same as it's always been so expecting it to change and be more like Andor doesn't make any sense.

But that's the thing. It's not the same show it's always been.

The major plot thread of the entire series up to this point has been resolved.

We're in a very much "now what" scenario with Mando.

I'm not expecting Mando to turn into Andor "rise up against fascism", nor do I think Star Wars can only be top quality if it's that specific theming.

Andor did not just succeed because of the "type of show" it is. It succeeded because it made that type of show extremely well. Pacing, dialogue, narrative, characterization. All things any show should be focused on.

Mando was doing similarly well back in the first season when the novelty was there. Now the novelty is gone and I would like the show to do something that's not just the same old thing.

And if it can't do that, then the show should end.
