I agree with the users who say to start slowly and find a way to make it enjoyable. Instead of starving yourself, replace some bad stuff with good stuff. Instead of running for eight hours per day, take a walk.

Sugar and sodium are two things to watch out for. One sugar cube is 4g of sugar, so I use this as a metric to decide what has too much sugar. Read the labels for everything you eat and calculate how many sugar cubes are in each serving of whatever you might eat.
