It was okay. I'm worried that the quest for bathing in the Living Waters isn't enough to sustain the season, so they have to throw a bunch of crap in the way of getting there.

Not the least of which is Din's insistence that he uses the most deader-than-dead droid in the galaxy to help him when a billion others would probably manage the same, unless he's keeping something from the rest of us of why he needs IG-11.

The Shard Pirates walked right off the Flying Dutchman. Always a good time being able to raid the PotC wardrobe. Even Shard himself is just Davy Jones with a moss head instead of a tentacle head.

That said I do like their flagship, yet I can't quite place what kind of dagger-shaped Star Destroyer it's built off of.

I feel Mando is at its strongest when it's Din and Grogu going to new places for new adventures, but this episode was a bunch of old places, or to old characters wherever they currently are just to talk to them. Blast a big monster, shoot some lame bad guys, and then an okay space battle is kinda by the numbers.
