Yes,.

Metal Blade is probably the most broken Mega Man weapon in the history of the series. Once you get it there's almost no reason to use the regular buster again.

-powerful
-rapid fire
-8 way shots
-uses very little weapon power

And on top of that, at least 4 robot masters are weak to it. (Bubble Man, Wood man, Flash Man, and Metal Man) and when you fight Metal Man for the second time in Wily's lair, it's a one hit kill.

Mega man 2's unofficial name should be Mega Man 2: Just Use Metal Blade.
