I don't give a shit about Harry Potter so I was never getting the game. I totally understand why people have a problem with supporting JK Rowling and don't want to purchase it. And I have no problem with people being vocal about it and trying to put pressure on JK/WB/etc about it.

But I do not think anyone who does buy the game is inherently transphobic and I'm not going to judge them as such. That said, if you want to play the game. Just play the game. You literally don't need more of a reason than "I like Harry Potter" or "the game looks fun". You don't need to explain to me that Harry Potter was an important franchise to you when you were growing up or that the money JK is getting is miniscule or anything. At that point it just makes it look like you know you are doing wrong and trying to justify it.
