Now that I can go in depth, I was very disappointed by the University Campus segment of the episode. The Last of Us gets drama and emotion done VERY well but is beginning to feel unbalanced when it comes to the intense action moments. The University was just a giant empty set piece and for such a crazy moment from the game they basically did absolutely nothing with it. Every time we get a moment of action it feels like theyre just rushing through it to the next moment to make us cry or feel sad. I dont really get the vibe of this dangerous world of infected and raiders the story has established. I feel like the emotional aspects DOMINATE the show already so when we get a moment of action it should be balls to the wall but its very reserved. Where I stand now I would 100% say the game is the definitive way to experience this story. I still think the show is great, theres just too much focus on tear-baiting the audience in my opinion.
