Reviews ranged from mixed to disappointing, even hurting the publishers stock. Speaking of publishers, in its latest financial report, the Embracer Group, to which Deep Silver has belonged for some time, paints a bleak picture of the future of the action franchise. With regard to Saints Row, there is talk of a below-average return on investment, i.e. too little income (exact figures are not given). Of course, this has an impact on possible further offshoots.
