LOL @ not understanding what a downward trajectory is. 6 top ten hits in the span of 14 years across eight albums is pathetic, especially when he had 7 top ten hits in the span of only 4 years across two albums before. His career sharply declined as a result of what he did. Meanwhile Rihanna went on to have 17 top ten hits across just four albums in the 14 years since the scandal.
