Thank you. I'm sure transgender gamers out there appreciate your show of support. It's not easy to reject a game you truly want to play, but your willingness to resist the temptation deserves a standing ovation.

I view all of this as arbitrary. Many of us have the line we draw in the sand for what we won't buy. I won't patronize Chick-fil-A or Hobby Lobby because of how much they spend toward anti-LGBTQ+ organizations. But I did buy Hogwarts Legacy. Also, I still buy from Nintendo despite their profits likely leading to more harm than Hogwarts Legacy (as do many of the gamers boycotting Hogwarts), and yet no one talks about that.

The main point though is that these lines we draw are arbitrary and it is hypocritical to blast others for not drawing the exact same lines. People can do what they wish, but don't shame others.
