They are paid for their work.The "Bad guy" wanted a specific car for some reason. And they find out, and now they are ready for pay back. But no .. they got compensated for their work, the bad guy got what he wanted.. why is this movie happening.I think it was the third movie when they started leaning into the "our heroes won't die even though physics dictates that they should" thing and that really took me out of it. I mean, I don't have any problem suspending my disbelief for certain things but "car fu" is a line for me lol.
