I don't know if there's any special significance to the last bit with the chick fight but the way it was tacked on at the end leads me to believe that it had meaning and that probably could have been left as a surprise for the moviegoers. My big takeaway is that it's pretty awesome they brought in Rita Moreno as Dom's....mother? Grandmother? Aunt? I dunno. I'm sure she only has a couple of scenes but yeah, absolute friggin legend.
