The scenes typically do a good job at allowing us to have a good idea what's being said anyways. Probably made his life easier too with not having to work around schedules for people to voice act. It says a lot when 3.5 hours of no actual voice-acting, and minimal dialogue on screen can still keep my full undivided attention. And I'm glad people seem to be enjoying it.
