Around 3 months, but then you get into the whole thing about trying to invest more in a bear market because you're buying stocks at a discount and if it's worth it to keep a large amount of cash around since it's getting killed by inflation. Guess it helps to live with your parents and not having to worry about rent, more money to throw into the 401k, Roth IRA and HSA and just keep enough cash around for an emergency that would have to make me meet my various deductibles. <cite>bknight posted [p:971273228] in How much o...
