Can you explain what they're doing wrong?

This board isn't exactly up to date on Chilean politics.

Sorry I was out of power most of the day and wasn't gonna post from my phone.

They've had several foreign policy blunders, like Boric calling out the US for not being present when John Kerry was literally sitting next to him at Summit of Americas, poorly thought out comments or desicions with Israel, Argentina, Per, among others.

Failure to be effective at controling terrorist groups in the south, calling out other politicians for supporting millitary intervention for civilian protection and key infrastructure safekeeping, and millitary intervention is all they've done since.

Failure to keep crime down in the north or control the massive influx of indocumented immigrants, mainly from the Venezuelan humanitary crisis, which has allowed criminal organizations to get into our country. We had never really seen hitmen, kidnapping or literally throwing people off bridges before. I want to clarify that I do not think nor with to imply in any way that all illegal imigrants are bad, not at all, but the current conditions have allowed very bad people to get in.

The president himself blatantly campaigning so the new constitution would win the plebiscite, and facing a massive 62% rejection from the population, in stark contrats of the 78% who voted to write a new constitution on the first one.

Several members of the government being extremely unprofessional or incompetent in one way or another. Soon after the plebiscite, several ministers were rotated or changed, before even a year of government had passed.

Giving presidential pardons to literal criminals who were "political prisioners of the October 2019 protests", when in fact they were nobodies who were convicted for crimes or felonies they comitted. After this pardon, while the country is facing its biggest security crisis in decades and public safety is the #1 concern of the population, they realize "oops some of these were actually bad people", and decide to remove the minister of justice from office.

These are all the ones that come to mind atm.
