It's a lesser known movie, but a summary of the plot is (Spoilers!): A shy man has a hard time talking to women, so he buys a life-size sex doll. Meanwhile at work his boss assigns a cute temp, Lisa, to help him on a project. So he starts fixing the doll up to look exactly like Lisa, and treats the doll like a real person. He has conversations with the doll, arguments, has dinner dates at home, dances with it, etc.
Eventually Lisa starts showing interest in him, so they date and, in the personality that he created for the doll, the doll gets "jealous" of Lisa. So he chops up the doll and throws it in the dumpster and starts trying to use Lisa as a replacement for the doll. He buys her the same outfits he had bought for the doll and he eventually tries to kill her so that he can turn her into a doll with embalming fluid and be with her forever.
The police are called by the concerned landlord and they arrive right as Lisa frees herself and knocks him out with a statue. So they see her standing over an unconscious man and assume she's the aggressor and shoot her. The movie ends with him buying another doll and him meeting another woman that resembles the doll he bought >_>
