Yen Sid acts as a sort of mentor character from Birth by Sleep onward and gets a shit ton of scene where he just exposits at the protagonists, and the Fairy Godmother has gotten some focus in the main plot lately, but that's about it. Maleficent's barely a factor since KH1, and none of the other Disney world villains even show up or get boss fights half the time these days. It's very rare that a Disney character gets brought up or involved in a "main story" segment of the plot. I mean if you ignore all the shit Maleficent is doing after KHII. Though I think a large problem with the Disney villains outside the few that have powers is the fact most of them dont do shit even in their own movies from the worlds we do get.
