Topic	The Asian kid in that 90s show is the most annoying kid of all time.

I can't speak for the 70s, but I think the reason a 90s show doesn't work (besides the obvious) is that we already had a ton of movies and shows parodying and displaying said 90s culture, since it was our most self-indulgent decade yet (up until the 21st century and social media ramping that up to a thousand) It was the birth of movies like Kevin Smith featuring people literally just talking about other shows and movies and we ate that shit up Since when?
