I can't believe I'm saying this, but I prefer the monastery to the somniel. At least once I've cleared the monastery I know everything is fine till the next month and I actually had real conversations with the characters there. Somniel is smaller and faster to run through, but it's such fluff of no value. You don't talk with the characters, you have a short one sentence piece of fluff dialogue. The visual imagery is extremely cloying and I feel its gonna end up burning my eyes. The music is annoying. It just feels like somewhere I don't want to spend my time.

Also why are "bond conversations" a thing that needed to happen? They're literally nothing.

...map design is great, though.
