It's wild that people will look at data showing a 7% vs 50% comparison of R and D support for those making less than 30k and still hold tightly to the belief that the poor are very red. It's just as confusing to realize they're blue collar workers making $60K a year that vote for Politicians pushing anti-union and right to work laws and very Evangelical or Catholic and very un-Christlike wishing to discriminate against LGBT people or punish people for (insert reason) because it wouldn't be "fair" in some way if they weren't punished or some such nonsense. And they're this way because American Exceptionalism and Patriotism is their crack, Christianity is their air and Reagan is their God and Jerry Falwell and Anita Bryant are their patron saints. --- "You're made of spare parts, aren't ya, bud?" ...
