I mean this kind of makes sense in that everyone in New Zealand would either be a New Zelanader, or a foreigner who had to present a passport to enter. Not sure they would necessarily carry it to the liquor store though. The Passport Card is as good as the Passport Book for identification and nationality verification though, so Im not sure why a liquor store wouldnt accept it. Within the countries that recognize it.
