As more automakers put factory features behind paywall, were racing towards a bleak future

https://adguard.com/en/blog/subscriptions-cars-mercedes-netflix.html

The future is you rent everything because that is more profitable.

Notice you no longer own a bunch of cds, dvds, etc. (maybe you do but average person don't)
That is because you being a subcriber to Netflix or Spotify is more profitable.

Look at how they keep pushing digital games. You don't own a digital game, you rent it. They can void your license anytime they want as Sony proved.

Now stupid consumers will buy these dumb cars and it will turn out that we start getting Refrigerators that have microtransactions and even toasters.
Look at your phones. Do you own your smart phone or you just renting it from the carrier? Even if you own it, does it work without a monthly fee to the carrier?

How about where you live? You renting?

Welcome to

Own nothing and be happy

Also FYI turns out Elon Musk and Tesla apparently made this popular.
Aren't Billionaires a net good to society? /sarcasm
