And my brother did it too. I had a decent grasp on what goes on in the prisons even as a kid just hearing my mom talk about her day at work or exchanging stories with my grandpa. My grandpa went from a Sgt to programs too so he also got to the side that strictly focused on helping the inmates. Programs handles things like getting them set up with schooling plans for when they go home etc. It's kinds why I bring it up a lot on this site. It's hard not to bring work home with you when most people you talk to have done it too.
